COVID-19 and Our Responsibilities to You
March 23, 2020
Our residents and community’s safety and well-being are our highest priority. As the impact of COVID-19 is changing daily, we are continuing to monitor and adjust our response on a regular basis. Rest assured; we are doing everything we can to maintain a high level of service to all our residents while maintaining a safe environment for both you and our staff.
What are we doing?
Leasing Office Appointments
All leasing offices are closed for the time being but are staffed during our regular hours. During this time, we will be happy to help by phone, email, or in-person by appointment only. We are maintaining social distance at all times for the safety of both you and our staff.
We understand this may disrupt your usual rent payment method. To allow for on-time payments, we encourage you to sign up for automatic withdrawals. You can sign up for this through Resident Connect. Please call or email your leasing office for more information.
If you anticipate difficulties making rent payments, please get in touch with your leasing office immediately to discuss options.
For the time being, we will not perform non-emergency maintenance.
All emergency maintenance requests will be still be completed, and can be called in, emailed, or submitted online through Resident Connect as per usual. If you are feeling unwell, please alert our staff when you submit your request.
Cleaning & Common Area Changes
We have increased cleaning to all high traffic common areas and touch points in our buildings. Elevator buttons, handrails, laundry rooms, building entrance/exit doors, and our leasing offices are all cleaned multiple times throughout the day.
To allow us to focus our cleaning efforts on the main common areas, non-essential public spaces are closed for the time being. This includes any on-site fitness centers, pools, and social rooms.
What should you do?
Social distancing is very important to prevent the spread of the virus. We would appreciate your cooperation and refrain from shaking hands and staying in close proximity to our staff if you are in our offices or if we are working in your unit.
Please be proactive and practice regular handwashing, especially after riding the elevator or touching doorknobs. We encourage you to regularly wash any frequent touch points in your unit, including your entrance doorknobs.
If you recently returned from outside of the United States or are beginning to show symptoms similar to COVID-19, please follow the latest recommendations from the CDC.
